Cybersecurity is almost as big a hoax as global warming. Seriously, unless you wrote the code yourself, software and hardware manufacturers have ways in. Not to mention that most of the biggest data breaches were simple phishing emails because corporations and organizations give every idiot, they hire, access.

That's how we pay for all of those "free" services we get. If they didn't make money selling your information, habits and locations, we'd have to pay for GPS navigation and a lot of other things.

100%. Every free app is just a data mining operation. Everything free on the internet-proper is either data mining or straight-up malware.

This can’t be legal and very likely completely made up nonsense.

I don't agree with cybersecurity being a hoax (though there are A LOT of grifters out there) but you're dead on about phishing/social engineering being the easiest way for threat actors to gain access to an environment and companies not following the principle of least privilege when distributing accounts. The other is previously popped creds available on the dark web or lousy password hygiene.

You are definitely on to something, there has always been rumors in AZ that the DEMs bus people in from California to vote here.

I saw a tweet today that showed the buses.

When I say hoax, I am referring to $$$ spent versus actual security provided. Some companies are spending more $$$ on cybersecurity than the data they are protecting is worth.
You are correct, though. Many people confuse cybersecurity with cyber hygiene. You are only as safe as the lowest IQ idiot you give access.

And your point is? Are you trying to say no one is supporting Kamala because that is retarded. She has just as many ppl supporting her as Trump has. Yall need to open your eyes and understand how many idiots we have in this country who believe that Kamala is a better candidate than Trump.

So they are Kamala groupies following her from state to state? Yeah, right.

Where to buy event geolocation data:

Wanna be explicit that "event" in that context refers to bits of third-party information aggregated from mobile apps+such and not, like, people at an event. That's why they're claiming 5.2 billion events a day. You could ostensibly *see* a large group of people at a particular geolocation/event if you had a large enough pool of data sources but what Seruga is claiming is that he is able to pull the IP from everybody's phone in a room (without them opting into some app or service that does third-party sharing or all connecting to the same network or something) which is completely different.

I wouldn’t hang my hat on that supposed fact. People travel to rallies
For both candidates. Tracking cell phones is a desperate ploy.
I think this is probably bs but 90% of people going to multiple rallies would not be just people traveling to rallies
Posted on 9/19/24 at 7:13 pm to anc
A) we know there are people that travel around to multiple Trump rallies, and they don't hide it. I'd assume Harris has the same.
B) 54% is an absurdly high number however, unless we're talking 11 people total.
C) The cost would be immense, and even though they have their money it's better spent on stupid lying fake arse ads in Oct. if you are Harris, not bussing the same people across the country. Rounding people up locally, yeah sure.
D) Show your work... because of (b) and (c) I doubt this seriously. At least grossly inflated.
E) Is he picking up on staff, crew, and security? But of course they are at every rally.

I’m shocked that people here don’t know you can buy this info.
I can log into a dashboard and see what stores people visit, in what order, and how often. We can see the zip code they come from. The software uses census data to assume demographics.
You can prescriptively target marketing to areas based on movement.
This data is definitely available.
