I’d like to see the stats for women 30-40. My wife and I were 30 before having our first and we ended up with 3.

There’s a very good reason women are so misled. It’s because they are followers by nature, and these liberal women doing away with the leaders in their lives causes them to be misled, confused, and without direction in their lives, so much so even that they miss out on their true purpose in life itself, raising children. It’s not just plumbing that’s different. It is their reason for living, and internally, they are all fully aware of that, even whilst they remain in denial and confusion They desperately are in need of rescue from themselves, but too deep in it that it’s too daunting for any man to willingly want to take on that challenge.

So they will have cats. That’s what they’ll have. Cats

Idk why it’s such an issue. The main concern people have about the population dipping are social programs. AI will probably fill the void and take jobs the newer generations would’ve had anyways.

Agreed — the US has a structural advantage most declining-population countries don’t. If labor tightens, immigration is a dial we can turn up easily, and the social program funding issue is more of a policy problem than a demographic one. The natalism panic feels overblown when AI is likely to absorb the jobs newer generations would’ve filled anyway. The real Idiocracy risk isn’t that we’ll run out of people — it’s that AI makes the people we have stop thinking critically.

What the study doesn’t say is how many will end up husbandless.

My daughter followed her Mother’s path. Small business can work from home while husband works for the “man” and she raises their daughter. Freedom to work, but still has her most important job.

Women are routinely neglecting one of the purposes they were created by God for: the provision of God's image-bearers. In addition to this neglect, many are actively murdering their own children through abortion. It's disgusting.

And a lot of them are more interested in other women, than men. Disgusting!

It’s our fault as men. Fathers stopped teaching daughters their role as women and started treating them like princesses and young men started putting them on a pedestal rather than in their place

That is kind of scary some of you think that way.

Which means they will likely only get one.

That's not replacement level production.

My wife was 35 when she had the first of our three children. We waited until she was done with her residency and had the first one during her fellowship. I realize she is an outlier but its not impossible.

Kind of stupid to use that age range. All three of my daughters were childless between 20 and 28.

The cost of having kids has skyrocketed.
Housing, healthcare, child care, food, transportation (mandated car seats longer, rear facing, etc), etc.

Most middle class families are making it with a two income household. So while some young couples would love to grow a family they also have to factor in lost opportunity cost while having a baby that’s another set back.

Only way a young family having a baby isn’t financially boarder line crippling is if the mother is on welfare across the board.

You see a difference between "not having kids" and "not having kids yet"?

They both equal to not having kids.
