I was shocked when I saw they donated 4 million to his campaign

I have heard this, but have never seen any documentation of it.

Do you have any sources you can link?

Never we forget that the media assured us some years back that Beto O'Dork was going to trounce Ted Cruz in TX.

The media tried to create that narrative, but every legit poll that was conducted showed Cruz beating Beeto.

But the Houston Chronicle and Texas Monthly tried like hell.

Political polls in America are a crock of shite. Ten, twenty, or thirty years ago, polls were run by respected organizations and were based on applied standards and mathematical models. Today's polls are a joke. Seriously, do you believe everything you read?

I asked Grok if Buckeyes or its founder donated 4 million to Talerico, Grok chastised me for listening to Gaucho.

Talrico will fare slightly better than Beto because he's not pretending to be a Mexican.

This. A choice between Cornyn and Paxton is pretty bad in a state the size of TX. There has got to be plenty of better candidates.

There was a better candidate in the primary, Wesley Hunt. Cornyn spent tens of millions in the first round attacking Hunt, just so he could get slapped in the face by Paxton in the runoff.

I sadly largely agree and mostly think the prediction markets are probably the best assessment - at least the items with real trading volume.

a paxton attack ad. blasting talarico for allowing china to buy up texas land. something like 186,000 acres. i thought it was pretty weak sauce. if that's all paxton has then it ain't looking good.

How could the democrats that run Texas let China buy land and all these Muslims in

is this another Talerico Bro thread where people who don't live in Texas feel the need to give Texans advice on who to vote for?

Talarico doesn’t know which bathroom to use and makes sickening claims about Jesus’ sexuality, if he wins it will be because too many people from California have made it to Texas.

Texas isn't electing Talarico, but for God's sakes, Paxton is a horrible candidate. Can't a state as big as Texas come up with two better candidates?

Please look at the last 3 presidential elections for the answer to that question.

Texas is one of those places that's obviously been run pretty well, people are moving there in droves.Talarico is running on "change", Texans, what needs to be changed? Why would you want to shift to the left right now?
