4-year-old in critical condition from self-inflicted gunshot; mother arrested

The mother should be prosecuted and punished to the fullest extent of the law - PERIOD start making examples of people.

Kidding aside - terrible for that kid.
BUT - this is exhibit A as to why we don’t need more gun laws. There are half-a-dozen on the books that should have prevented this from happening if the government enforced the laws it has already made.

I’m glad the police chief said this. We grossly underestimate some of the things our LEO see and have to handle.

From what I’ve been told, this is not her first rodeo. She was arrested for stealing a man’s wallet. She had picked him at up at the casino, took him home, and stole his wallet while he was showering.
ETA the little boy is just another victim of LBJ’s Great Society. They have destroyed the AA family unit.
It’s criminal.
