The south gets virtually no representation in Congress. They sure get taxed by Congress though.

Don't just talk about it, DO IT. Would be glorious, and if successful, could see other blue states with counties full of normal people, starting to do it.

If they start now, they might be able to break off in 20 years when all of the lawsuits finally settle

I have a very good friend who owns a farm in Springfield IL and I can tell you they can't stand the shite going on in Chicago. It's like 2 different worlds.

Unfortunately it will never happen. The law is clear on this. Chicago would have to agree to release the counties and they never would.
