If it can mean anything then it means nothing.

Pretty sure it still means the legally or formally recognized union of two or more consenting adults as partners in a personal relationship.

And it doesn't make your marriage with your wife/husband mean any less.

It makes people think less of marriage in general, because there's no special meaning to it. It's not permanent, it needn't be fruitful, it can be obviously just a perverted whim. Nothing, IOW

shake my head as perversion runs rampant in society
"Society" = your head

There's two types of people in the world:
1. People who don't give a crap about what consenting adults do with each other in private.
2. People who need a dick in their mouth.

Columbia, who'd a thunk it?

Bunch of maricons and bugarrons, prolly strung out on cocaine, wanting to spice up their daisy-chain with a piece of paper...

Could give two shits...

You're vile and stupid and sex-obsessed because you watch porn while your kids stare at tablets in their rooms.

Go play with fire.

When has it ever been permanent? Divorce isn't a new concept.

Polygamy isn't a new concept either. Pretty sure it was legal in the US at some point.

Jesus forbade it, so it's new to Western civilization.

Well then no one should be able derive government benefits simply from forming a social union with someone else, in this case. What if a man doesn't actually love his wife but just wants to marry her to get the benefits? Is that "wrong" or is it only wrong when it doesn't involve your fairy tale Disney Christian Herero marriage?

What government benefits? My wife and I are seriously missing out here.

Is Greece a Western civilization? It was legal in well into the BCs.

Damn it. I meant Greece, not Rome. Got my ancient civilizations mixed up.

You are ASSERTING that it's abnormal in the same way being left handed is

Because it is

An extreme minority of humans are left-handed, just as an extreme minority are gay or polygamous. Those qualities are by definition abnormal because they defy the norms of human existence.

That doesn't make either wrong or immoral.

Don't really have a problem with polygamy tbh.

Kind of difficult to get worked up enough to care. Got my own marriage to work on every day. If others can handle being married to multiple partners, more power to 'em. That shite ain't easy

Yeah, because 2 gay people remaining monogamous for the rest of their lives is so much worse than 18 year olds getting married and divorced in the same year or Vegas Weddings.
