The fact that they were beaten up, tells me there is something else going on. Why would drug dealers bother beating them up, when they know they have to kill them? I think first guy was targeted. I have my suspicions based on what the sheriff said and the redneck sticker on the guy's windshield, I bet he also had some Confederate stickers on his truck.

Yes because Change.org would assume they were black and push for money. For example... a black teenager hung himself and they refused to believe the kid hung himself. I guess only wypipo commit suicide. When a black dies it’s because it’s a public lynching by whitey. So yes - I think it’s necessary to give the victims skin color in today’s political climate.

Libs, you brought this shite upon yourselves. I can only imagine the “woke” comments from shitbirds on Twitter.

Ground view of the murder site

You can see the amount of truck traffic that regularly goes towards the lake, but if you look around you will see some trash, like it's a hangout area. Interested in what ya'll think.
That spot really is not as remote as the story wants you to believe. It less than a mile from a Hwy and the fact that google mapped a dirt road is telling. Something funky went down and the victim assuredly knew the killers. Finally "fishing" on that small lake at night....right. Hopefully the "wet fishing poles" will be in the evidence.....

Guys do that, sometimes, it's not so much about catching fish, but getting away from the wife, to drink a couple beers with your friends. I don't think they ever got the chance to do any fishing though.

I worked at a power plant for 3 months in Lakeland Florida and I believe the plant was right of Hwy98
This was end of last year. Is this site close to Lakeland Florida?

It's in the same county as Lakeland, I've been through there several times, I think Frostproof is south of Lakeland on 98 (not sure though, I go so many places, the geography just runs together sometimes), town of about 3,000 people.

Sounds like a lot more to this, guessing the victims were involved in something. Do they have any priors?

Two of the deceased appear to have done time in jail. Some buzz about meth use. And one of them had meth charges.

Wild arse guess is since they went fishing @ night a lot according to the dad and he knew exactly where they were is the first place to check is with anyone real local to their favorite fishin' hole. Someone living there who is offended by late night fishing and beer drinking out there since he lives there to get away. Sheriff says ever who did it killed the first guy then shot the other two when their trucks pulled up.

Who knows but it is going to be hard to cover up unless it was real random like somebody got a case of road rage and followed the target of the rage and then shot the others to cover. If there is a hwy nearby and there were the photo scans of license plates that might help to narrow whether it was someone local or not. If it was a random act by one person and he keeps his mouth shut then it may never get solved. Also in the current climate and keeping mind the stuff written on their trucks...who knows? Some social justice warriors? Or maybe some locals they have fought with in the past that they ran across. Or maybe something worse.

right off the top they need to know if they told anyone what they saw or called the police. only a complete fool would kill them before finding out everything they know and who they told about it. they had no idea if these guys werent watching them before or not

So do the cops have any leads? Sure sounds like they were set up or a drug deal gone bad.

Agreed, makes 0 sense.

So you are at the store and an visible distraught, uninjured man with blood on his hands and shirt makes a call to the police for help and you would not want to help???

This is what happens when there's no sonic to meet at. Fist fights get way out of hand when there's no witnesses

I was robbed at gunpoint by two young black men in my apartment complex some years back.

I told one of my warehouse employees I was going home to pick up supplies and then going to the bank to make a $5,000 deposit.

They caught me in a blind spot of my apartment complex. Both had guns and specifically asked for the deposit.

I didn't sleep for weeks and jumped at my own shadow.

Not until, I saw a news report that they were both shot dead by JP police officers, did I sleep well again.

The murderers, IF they were not targeting these guys specifically, probably were not planning to murder them. One a-hole gets abit heavy handed and the group decides we will go to jail if they live. Other guy chimes in with im on parole and i will be facing serious time. Not going back. The decision is made! pow, pow, pow.
