Yeah, killers had to know the victims and know they would be there at that time

Why were they ambushed? Seems pretty out of place to just ambush 3 people "night fishing", doesnt it? Probably a drug deal gone wrong.

Something very strange about that incident. I think those poor guys may have been involved with something other than fishing.

Why make a bad situation worse? Ur son's gonna die, but do you have to get blood all over your cloth bucket seats?

A lot of odd stuff in this story.

The father knows what road his son is on but doesn't call the police before leaving his house to tell them or take the phone with him even though he had it in his hand after talking to his son.

Father leaves his dying son while going to the store to make a call.

The 17-year-old daughter of the convenience store owner jumps in the car with this random stranger to go to the scene of a triple homicide.

Doesn't sound at all like any drug deal. The son called his dad and said one word. "Help" and his dad knew where they were fishing and drove immediately there. Sheriff said it was as far in the woods as you can go. Crime scene layout showed they were at a remote body of inland water. Doubt seriously if the dad would have known exactly where they were had any chicanery been afoot. There is a chance one of the three was fooling with someone's woman and was followed and the other two got caught in the crossfire. But why were they beaten as well? Strange. Brutal scene says sheriff.

I used to never but after an incident last year I always carry now.

Luckily in my area that's not a big concern for me but it is in my rig if I decide I want to.

Were these Euro Americans or Afro Americans. First names sound like Afro Americans.

The area they were killed in is called frost proof FL. Very poor area. Land is still cheap there if that tells you anything. Polk county is not as backwoods as in the pan handle. It was either a drug deal gone bad or they walked into a snake pit and got bit by dealers.

Maybe there was a 4th friend that set them up to get ambushed?

Walking up on a drug deal doesn’t explain the reportedly gruesome, viscous beatings. You don’t torture beat someone before killing them if that occurs, you just kill them.

The backwoods of Florida are no joke.

A lot of bad things can happen, and not a peep would be heard.

Weird people live in these areas, and are fully armed
