Unless he gets caught with a dead hooker or a live boy, JD Vance.

This

The MAGA wing has grown into too big of a coalition for them not to basically hand pick the candidate, and Vance will have their full backing.

But if somehow Vance is caught with a dead hooker, then my guess is that they would either back Rubio or another candidate that we don't know yet (I would say Vivek, but the H-1B visa ordeal probably killed his chances).

But unfortunately the MAGA wing most likely won't back DeSantis so he won't have a shot. And that is unfortunate because after Vance, he'd be my choice as things sit today. But again, the 2024 primary soured him in the eyes of most of the MAGA wing.

Netanyahu calls far right MAGA "far reich". So I would say no, we're not on the same page. Tucker, Charlie, Jimmy Dores and such of the center, MTG, Gaetz and other MAGA voices aren't down with being Israel's bitch.

It's not our thing.

Lil Marco

Ronald

Hope Marco would be JDV's running mate as VP although he may have higher aspirations

don't think Trump endorses during the primary. I could be totally wrong but that's just my guess right now.

As we know, one of Trump's best virtues is that he is unconventional. My guess is that he endorses someone (Vance or Rubio) early.

At this point, I think the race is for Vance's running mate. Rubio has gone from Little Marco to seat at Trump's table. He is essentially interviewing for the job, as is Noem.

Trump will bless, if not select, the ticket to succeed him with the goal of 16 years of succession.

I don't see Ron D. running against Vance. He already made the mistake of challenging MAGA and cost him a seat in the inner circle. His best bet is a cabinet position. Nikki Haley may run just so the GOPe has a voice. There could be a wild card like Youngkin, Hawley, or Abbott, but I doubt it. The party is MAGA not GOPe.

MAGA is not backing Rubio either. He is in the same bucket with Lindsey Graham and Nikki Haley. I would definitely pick DeSantis over Rubio

I want Rubio to vanish into obscurity after this stint. He's a South Florida can and just dressed up MAGA version of Menendez from NJ. Same Cuban warhawk chickenshit.

Vance / Rubio would be an incredibly hard ticket to beat. Both have experience in the Administration and the Senate. Vance has been the face of domestic policy and Rubio has been the face of international policy. Both have picked up the fighting spirit of Trump, with both being better at articulating their positions. They both come across as relatable now (Rubio had a long way to go before this administration). Vance carries the Rust Belt and Rubio gives you a strong Latino / Florida presence. Both would obliterate any Democrat in a debate.

I would support Ron or Vance.

Unfortunately for Ron, I think the MAGA voters would stay home if he were the candidate. Vance has a better chance of using Trump's momentum to get them to the polls.

3 years to go . If JD remains strong and continues to learn I don’t see how he’s not the nominee , and I can’t see Trump not endorsing him.

Beat me to it.

Although for me DeSantis has permanently disqualified himself over anyone. If it was between Ron and Rubio I would have to waste my vote on someone else who at least resembles MAGA position. They ain't MAGA, just pretending. Either one you'll be getting a younger version of Lindsay Graham(in heels, since both of them were caught heightening).

The majority would back Rubio over DeSantis if Trump endorsed him, and my guess is that Trump would endorse Rubio if Vance did something that made him unelectable. Trump sure as heck isn't endorsing DeSantis, and that is unfortunate because like I said, DeSantis would definitely be my second choice behind Vance.

For me at this point for the '28 GOP primary this is how I rank the candidates by preference:

1. Ron Desantis

So you no longer think he's a mouthpiece paid for my the gopE? Quite the turn from 2023.

Vance + Trump + Elon + Thiel/Palantir isn’t losing a primary to anyone on the right.

I still think that. I think he's 1000% subservient to GOPe and Israel lobby.
