Reminder - If any combination of us had $20M in outstanding back taxes, the IRS would seize all of our assets and put us in jail at the point of a gun to impose restitution for what the government feels it is "owed".

That video is hilarious. When I first heard about this I envisioned Cookie Monster with a shoulder mounted rocket launcher.

Wonder if they show the top of the roof that serves as the express elevator for the deviants?

I dont care about spending $20 million for kids in a country that we wasted $BILLIONS in destroying their homes. (Unfortunately, I was a flag waving supporter of this war)

We have wasted $Trillions over the years.

I dont want to spend $20 million in any other country, even for the kids. But I am not upset about doing this for Iraq. Probably the only good $20 million we spent there

This is the absolutely most limp-dicked perspective one can take in this matter. It's also the most dangerous opinion because it gives a pass to this retardation.

Any individual who stopped paying federal income taxes and gets caught would have their door kicked in, their assets frozen, home sold, wages garnished and eventually imprisoned for failure to pay the taxes that the IRS claims primacy over.

Then they take that money that was seized through the course of ruining the taxpayer's life and they gleefully hand it out for retardation like this.

Wanton government spending doesn't factor in the effort, blood, tears, toil and sweat required to generate that revenue. They don't care. It's just numbers on a spreadsheet for them. They have an agenda to advance, and squandering your tax dollars is the oil that keeps that engine running.

I think we need to wrap our heads around how astronomical figure that is

20 million spent in Iraq is more akin to 100 hundred million spent here. Maybe more.

It’s fricking insane.

Precisely. That's the entire tax liability for over 1400 families, pissed away with zero benefit for the Americans who earned the money.

If someone proposed a program like this and it was sort of aligned with the objectives of Voice Of America, etc, I would probably be on board. Leftists have shown how effective it is to get your message in front of young eyes.

But for $20 million???? I’d like to see an accounting of where those dollars went.

Wasting even a $1 of American tax dollars on anything that doesn't help Americans is theft. So you're OK with theft of our money as long as it's not trillions...smh
