I'm trying to understand if so many either can't see this, or, are they really neocons themselves.

Not my first choice but I hope Rep Luna gets a look as VP. She seems to be one of the extremely few who actually gives a damn these days. Latin, super fine, exposes the left and right daily.

I like Vance, Rubio, and DeSantis. Actually a pretty good trio we have going forward. None are perfect, but there are things to really like about each. I get the hesitation with Rubio, but Trump has changed him.

If you want to avoid a Democrat winning the White House you run Rubio and win in a landslide with record GOP Hispanic turnout.

2028 Republican Primary TD Straw Poll

Leading candidates: Vance and Rubio.
As goes foreign policy, so goes 2028. If it goes as well as it looks to be going right now, Rubio's got the inside track. If it's win-some, lose-some, Vance will have the inside track. If foreign policy blows up, Dems will have the advantage.

If I don't see a major significant cutting of h1b visas, and deportations back to India, it'll be mighty hard for me to support Vance.

Whocares2028, that's where my vote lies. I have voted conservative my entire life and what it's got me is a country that takes half my salary, a system that enslaves you for 40-45 years so you can have just enough money to maybe live 7-10 years after retiring but are too old to do anything. Also a system that you never really own anything and are only renting it from the government. We are sold an illusion of freedom and are given just enough of a difference from the other party to keep voting that way.

I have zero faith in humanity and especially all of those that occupy DC. I keep my faith in God and my family close.

Imagine if you and many more like you voted Democrat all of those years.

The system would have completely collapsed and there would have been a revolution, which I think is inevitably the path this country goes down regardless of who gets elected, it's just how fast it gets there.

I say Vance right now. I've never liked Rubio's ties with the MIC warmongers.

That said, i wouldn't complain about Desantis one bit. I find him to be socially odd and awkward, but the guy is an absolute well-oiled machine of competent governance.

The God you serve has a disdain for apathy. I know there are a lot of evil things going on, but, taking this who cares attitude about things is simply allowing that evil to increase. Evil abounds when good men do nothing.

My best guess, ticket is

Rubio / Bessent.

Big fan of Vance. Highly intelligent marine officer. But suspect he'll be damaged goods in a few years

Vance

Desantis has tarnished his chances for president

Rubio I don’t trust

DJT Jr is a grifter and doesn’t amount to 1/10th of his dad unfortunately

None of the other names worth discussing
