2024: How long before Rubio and Cruz start pretending like they never supported Trump?

Have a feeling a lot of members of this administration and the Republican party will publicly start claiming to have been 'secretly' doing everything they could to stop, and work against, Trump the entire time and try to cast themselves as heroes.

Depends on who wins. If Biden wins almost all of them will act like they never supported Trump

Trump will be a hero to the Right for the next 100+ years and every Republican politician who comes after him will try to emulate him to the extent they can. Gone are the days of the Bushes trying to appease and make nice with the FILTH and scum that is the Democrat party. If you're not willing to fight and call out the pure f*cking insanity of the left then you can forget ever running for president as a Republican. Trump has taught them the way and the only reason that this race will not be a complete f*cking landslide is because of the MASSIVE F*CKING VOTER FRAUD the Democrat filth is engaging in.

Then that would be their biggest political mistake. Drop the bombasity of Trump but retain his political views and their chances of winning a prez election are quite good. Hell, half the people voting for Biden is because they don't like Trump's "style".

Cruz has always been a strong voice. He just has a better persona and grasp of history than Trump. He has steadfastly supported Trump since day one - regardless of how Trump treated him during the Primary.

Your assumption is that a Trump loses and the rats start leaving the sinking ship. Interesting approach. He appointed people who were focused on thwarting him at the beginning and he weeded them out quickly. There are some left, bu I don’t see Cruz in that category, maybe Rubio. McClain, Flake and Corker are gone.

Rubio maybe but Cruz can ride his standing with trump all the way to the 2024 nom after trumps 4 more years. I know people say Don Jr or Ivanka but I think Cruz 2024 is the next in line
