if your friends work on a right to work state, they should make better choices In either how they conduct them selves when it comes to going against the company they choose to work for or they can work in a state with better legal protections.
They made their decisions, they should man up and accept the consequences.

By your "question," it appears you do not.
I've been preaching for years that the law and the effective law (what you can practically do and not do) follow political culture. Also, the primary means of (especially political) communication have been concentrated into a few businesses.
Scott Adams put it well on yesterday's episode, "frick you," (to the pedants who say "free speech is only about government action.").

it's a shame that America has given in to the liberal piss ants!

States need to propose and pass legislation to protect individuals from this kind of crap. Instances where employee’s can be fired for comments posted on social media outside of work hours. In addition, legislation should be passed to protect workers from being forced by their employer to comment on political or social issues in the workplace.
I’ve read of situations where people were fired for not showing open support and affirmation of BLM.

uh...
hmmmm
I think his point was, some freedom of speech is not allowed anymore, thus not freedom of speech.
apparently you can f bomb a police officer in his face, call him all kinds of names and nothing happens
but if you tell you boss white lives matter or all lives matter which is a polite way of saying "enough of the BLM movement BS, let's get back to work boss"
will get you fired
I'd sue the hell out of my employer if that happened
because that's discrimination 101

How can this happen when we have freedom of speech??
The nuance is that freedom of speech regulates only government sanctions. However, there really needs to be some pushback in the private sector about being more open to speaking your mind when it isn't work related but in a similar fashion of freedom, the free market will have to correct that.

Do your friends that got fired have access to the internet? The announcer of the Sacramento Kings was forced to resign on June the 2nd for tweeting the same thing. It is a shame your friends don’t keep up with current events.
Treacherous, anti-human shite that POS black thug Cousins seems to have gotten away with...

some of things I've read on social media should get people in trouble or fired
inside the workplace where they are not trying to reprogram American minds to conform to BLM agenda and you comment on it, hey, should not be fired for that...
I know I am biased, but I will fight you to prove me wrong...The BLM is bad news...
they are playing on the race card and white guilt....to get us no-where forward but divided...
people need to speak up or we lose our country

One of these days, someone whose life is ruined by these Nazis is going to go postal on the people responsible for ruining them.....I hope, anyway.

Well, if we're firing people for saying White lives matter, then obviously that employer doesn't agree with the statement. And that violates several federal EOE laws.

Apparently, you do not.
When only one group of people gets to decide what is and is not acceptable, then your freedoms are limited. When you have to fear repercussions for something so trivial as All Lives Matter, then you don't have freedom of speech.
We need more people speaking up and speaking out, otherwise the speech nazis win. I will not be silent. I will not kneel. I will not be forced to support something that is 100 percent counter to those values I hold dear.

It's a shame Democrats don't keep up with History.
The American Left are now engaging in a movement that parallels the rise of Nazism.
Calling it "current events" or an evolving culture doesn't change the underlying hatred and attempt at controlling others lives that propel the movement.

If you run a statistical analysis, that is true...No Life Matters.
