2 people I know We're fired today / yesterday For speaking their minds.

Cancel culture has hit the delta. It's a damn shame too. These men, who worked hard to get where they were, lost their livelihood's today. Neither crossed the line of being a racist at all. One simply said white lives matter too

They could not have been too smart if they got fired today/yesterday. The limits that should not be exceeded were set a few weeks ago.

The bad news about freedom of speech is that it does not mean freedom from consequences of speech.

Do your friends that got fired have access to the internet? The announcer of the Sacramento Kings was forced to resign on June the 2nd for tweeting the same thing. It is a shame your friends don’t keep up with current events.

I understand that companies will allow people to promote BLM, an anti-American Marxist organization with zero repercussions, but fire a person for saying all lives matter. Do you understand how wrong that is?

Not really, if a company singles a person (or in this case two out) for firing not based on substantive reasons a good employment law attorney can get it won.
