Softness on crime only leads to more crime. They tried to kill an officer during his job and you are upset at the people who are happy to see violent gangbangers no longer be able to commit crimes against innocent victims.
You are saddened by people hoping for the death of a violent criminal. I am saddened that this violent criminal still has the potential to hurt people. You are not even considering the victims, only the criminal.
Wanting to see a criminal die is not "stooping to violent tactics." Words are not actions, and no one is asking for violence. Not caring that a criminal dies when he attacks law enforcement is not a call to violence.
I have no problem disregarding the life of a gangbanger. I don't have suicidal empathy. I hold in high regard the lives of innocent victims, though. And that's why I don't care about criminals.

If tweet fails to load, click here. ICE Watch claimed it was a 911 dispatcher source that gave them the photo but that was a lie to throw off the real source. The photo was taken inside a first responder vehicle. According to sourcing, it was not a Portland Police in-car computer system. It could be from the @PDXStResponse, @PDXFire, @MultCoSO, an ambulance driver or another first responder in the county.
The leak to an extremist group by a first responder raises questions about safety. Imagine if you were calling 911 about being a victim of violence by an illegal foreign national and first responders leaked that information to a far-left group so that the assailant could be protected?
