This is the dumbest shite. So they let relatively young folks die rather quickly instead of drawing out the treatment for years and actually making more money?

Seems like if they “cure” the able bodied people of cancer with these hidden cures they could then profit off of other maladies or relapses, etc.

Bulls***..it depends on the type of caner, and the progression of the cancer relative to when chemotherapy started. This does not mean that I trust big pharma or all treatment protocols, but what this guy is saying is patently false on it's face value.

Not has….had. This guy is talking about a study from 1982 thru 1994. Why should we give a damn about the results of a study that concluded over 30 years ago? Tell me the success/failure rate of chemo in the 21st century and you might have relevant point.

Anecdotally, I know too many people who survived cancer because of chemo to believe this number.

My mother refused chemotherapy because of what it had done to her friends and cured nothing. She did, however, endure the radiation, which was almost as bad. She was only 56 when she passed away. Cancer is my family curse.

Link to the study?

That video looks like it's from the 1990s

That isn’t remotely accurate lol you goofballs believe anything you see. Chemotherapy only works on rapidly dividing cells so if it’s a slow growing cancer or it’s late stage it won’t be effective. Often times chemotherapy is used to extend a patient’s life but it is very effective for certain cancers just like radiation is only effective for certain cancers in certain areas of the body. I don’t know why y’all want to believe cancer is some government conspiracy

There isn’t a cure for cancer or virtually any other diseases. There are preventative medicines and there are treatments to lessen symptoms but outside of surgery in most cases the best you can hope for is the destruction of cancer cells with limited side effects long term to healthy cells

Proof?! We got a another Ailsa Twitter link post. What more do we need?

The funny thing about this is just using elementary logic shows the stupidity of it. Who came up with these cures? Why wouldn’t they go to market with them? If it’s Big Pharma that owns the current technology then why did they spend so much R&D looking for cures that they were never going to use? Why would we ever get medical advances if this were true? It’s laughable.

Think how much a cure for cancer would be worth for an individual.

My daughter gets cancer and I wouldn’t pay every dollar anyone would give me for the cure?

It’s dumb thinking by dumb people.

You don't know what the frick you're talking about. Doctors find it extremely rewarding when they help a patient beat cancer. I know because I beat it and have two close relatives that beat it. I'll be the first to say that modern medicine saved my life.

The question is whether they gain some time and quality of life.

This. Mrs. Tantal's oncologist told us on day 1 that he couldn't save her, but could give her some time. Based on the type and advanced stage, he said 56 months. She made it 59.

As a family that, unfortunately, has needed to use chemo for a family member, we are grateful for its existence and, in our case, effectiveness. 97% seems like an extremely high failure rate and many advances have been made in how targeted it is, how toxic, etc.

Seconded. I frequently wear the shirt I got from MD Anderson while escorting a family member around the campus for treatments
