This is fake, right?
Right?
Yea I am not sure where I stand on this, especially after the debacle of tax credits in LA for films that saw very little return for the state

Bring back the Hays Code for the Movie and TV industry to bring back creativity and imagination to those industries

I've been pretty consistent for over a decade about wanting everything we consume to be made here.

it's a good question... define "make a movie"?
- cast paying 1040 in US?
- filmed in US?
- does it matter where it was edited?
- Producer(s) US based?
- capital funding from US company?
ask djt. it's his unhinged, ambiguous, poorly thought out post

Well that's silly.
Research comparative advantage
Then think about what kind of a population it would take to replace the literal world
Been think about resource allocation around the world including cheap labor

The movie industry is t dying because of a lack of tariffs. It’s dying because it’s run by a bunch of wokeheads that produce crap.
Exactly. And every director, producer, and sag member down to the key grips and makeup people absolutely loathe Trump. Aren’t they failing well enough all on their own? Why is this important

How would filming something like Game of Thrones work out here? We don't exactly have the landscape and historical locations of other countries for something like that.

The tweet in the OP says "produced in foreign lands." That could mean a number of things, but I guess we'll have to see exactly how they word it to know for sure. I'm certain it won't stop things like what you describe.

This is actually brilliant. I love it.

Oh wait! How is it possible I disagree with Trump, since they said we were all members of a cult???

Movies are being offshored in the wake of the writers strike last year.
They/production made a deal with the union and turned right around and started producing content overseas for cheaper cost

The creator says the franchise has been stolen by AI at this point, they dont need location.
Hmmmm....

Well, Korea makes better content than woke Hollywood these days. Netflix knows that and has leaned heavily into it.

The movie industry in America is DYING
Good. Originality died quite a while back.
Seems like half of everything that comes out now is another "version" of a story already told, another reimagining of something from the 80s or 90s, or another group of woke producers trying to frick up another video game or comic franchise with gay shite.
May they all woke themselves penniless.
