1 Question Would Save Floyds Life!
Posted by rbm1 on 7/9/20 at 4:38 am4615
Watch out the truth hurts but is sets you free!
10 black people were killed by policemen last year, while 20 white men were killed! Whats the issue? Why are not black people shouting out White Lives Matter! The only reform needed is parent reform! Where the parents who teach their children to disrespect, or worst, resist the police. It's on their own hands who kill their own kids!
Did you know, if a criminal breaks into a home and the lady of the house runs scared up the stairs only to trip and fall then breaks her neck and dies, the burglar is now a murderer without any intention to kill? Yes, if he hadn't been there the victim would not have died!
The coward pundits will not ask the one question, I would ask myself, if my son had died like Floyd did. The one question that would have positively saved Floyd's life.
"Would Floyd still be alive if he hadn't broke the law, again?"
No, that would mean personal accountability and that means they can't blame anyone. They can't be a victim then a perpetrator by looting and killing!
You are hating the wrong white guys, You need to hate the white people who having been playing and exploiting you since the sixties. Asked Mr. Robert L. Woodson, Sr. he'll tell you. Oh, he is black too!

No, but Chauvin still didnt have to kill him.

1 Question Would Save Floyds Life!
"Would Floyd still be alive if he hadn't broke the law, again?"
One question which would have have saved their lives as well as Floyd's is a simple Police procedure review question:
"What are the risks in this approach?"
Simple review alterations of protocol would have made a lifetime of difference in each instance.
Example:
If called to a site where a man is supposedly brandishing a gun, (a) ensure ALL known facts are in the responding team's hands (i.e., that 911 calls identifying the "perp" as appearing to be a child, and the gun likely a "fake"), and (b) don't drive right up to within 10ft of the suspect where there is no chance to analyze WTF is happening and assess best response.
Example:
If conducting a middle of the night no-knock raid on two people who drive to work routinely M-F, ask why not wait until the "suspects" leave their house to detain them, or better yet, assess risk/benefit of first simply knocking on the door during the day.
Yet, patterns of police raids remain STUPID! The PabloEscobar-style raids on RogerStone and GhislaineMaxwell are cases in point.
Example:
If carotid compression aka choke-holds are taught, what safety checks are in place?
Life Choices Matter. Floyd was a repeated criminal with drug, theft, and robbery charges. Seems like all he did was steal and get high. If his life mattered to him, he would made better life choices. Or if black lives matter, his parents would love put George Floyd in a position to succeed in life. May George could’ve been an eegineer, chemist, salesman, or even a cop.
If you say “Black or All lives matter”, you are absolving people from life’s responsibilities. Because you are saying it doesn’t matter if someone rob a pregnant woman’s at gun point, his life still matter. You can say the same with Chauvin. He made a shite decision and should not walk away because his life matters. Life is a series of cause and effect from personal choices. How we choose affect how we live.

I hope someone is held accountable for Breonna Taylor's death. No knock warrants need to be eliminated. Wasn't Tamir Rice the kid who pointed a paint ball gun at the cops? If so its a tragedy but hard to fault the cops for that one. Many toy guns look real from a distance and having to make a split second decision between life and death doesn't allow for examination.

probably not as he was overdosing and couldnt breathe before the cops did anything

ell it to Tamir Rice.
dont modify a toy gun to look real, disobey cops, and shoot at them.

while tragic her boyfriend started that firefight

We can't because he's dead.
He's dead because he was acting like an idiot.
Use good examples, not bad ones.

quote:Yep. Unclear if he actually meant to point the gun when the cops caught his attention.

Airsoft actually, without the orange tip.
quote:That was my point. Not that the cops weren't justified in shooting, but rather that they put themselves in a position where shooting the kid was their only choice. That and the fact 911 calls indicated it appeared the suspect was a kid with a toy gun, but that info never reached the responding officers.
and having to make a split second decision between life and death doesn't allow for examination

2 things would improve your credibility:
•Factor in innocent until proven guilty
•Provide links to your stats about 2x whites being killed by cops

Wow. I hope your 12 year-old son doesn’t ever act like an idiot. Most college aged students do worse things (and yes in front of police).

Yes, but he didn't get killed because he was black. He got killed by someone he knew and worked with for a long time. This was not a race thing. IMO, it was a drugs thing.

Yep...
But what he did went far beyond the pale.
His STUPIDITY and terrorist actions were a result of bad parenting and immersion in a stupid culture that glorifies violence.....any other questions?

"Children" also murder, rape, assault and rob people.
This wasn't the fault of the police, it was HIS fault and the fault of his parents.

People who support BLM literally believe breaking the law and infringing on the rights of others is just a regular part of daily life.
