In Texas, nearly 50% of the homes for sale are lowering their asking price.

No one ever seems to move to Illinois, New York State or Minnesota.
Weird. Just a coincidence I’m sure.

They are over priced in Texas to begin with.
Another 6 months and, I'll upgrade.

Been looking at the Spring Hill, Brooksville area in FL. Homes there seem to be about 25% cheaper than Knoxville area.

I think the Covid-era population migrations have been reversing for a year or so

All of the millennial hippies from California are realizing that Texas isn’t the social media influencer’s paradise that they initially thought it would be

Just be ready for a commute if you're not retired.

The house they just built next door to me has had an open house every weekend for the past 2 months. The builder is hung with two more lots on my street and doesn't seem to be in any hurry to build on them. One still has a house that needs to be demo'd on it and the other they already cleared the lot. I guess no one wants to over pay for the 4600sqft house be built to the property lines.

Beautiful. You will like it out there. Close to the nature coast. Not terribly far from major metro areas if you want a taste of that from time to time.

Not much different, most of the area I'm looking at is at low flood risk. Taxes are reasonable too.

I had a family buy the house next door to a rental I own in Sunnyvale. They are from Washington. It's up for sale again, he told me it was to hot here.
Pussies but, I'm glad they're leaving.
