Maybe the browns really don't want to win.

Must be getting kickbacks from Eifert's agent.

seriously

this dude has been in the 20-30 range for the past three months, then all of a sudden he's a top 6 pick?

For fricks sake Vernon Davis went exactly at 6 but he ran a 4.3 and had like 40 inch vertical

Same with Nassib....2nd to 3rd round pick until this weekend when he magically rises to No. 8. A bunch of smokescreens and the sad part is the Bills are going to fall for it

I've never heard of Ryan Nassib and I watch a ton of college football.

I vaguely remembered the name at the start of the season and saw him play once on ESPN. He got some light in the bowl game against Geno Smith but everyone has ridden is meat since Doug Marrone (his college coach) became Buffalo's new coach

He's a decent athlete and has good accuracy but doesn't have a great arm in terms of deep balls.

Has 2nd to 3rd rounder written all over him

I have to say that looks like the worst mock I have seen from McShay.

Could be wrong, but doesn't make sense to me.

McShay has been, believe it or not, the most accurate Mocker in the past several years.

His system of thought is atrocious. He basically admitted Buffalo's pick would be terrible but he thinks it "might' happen.

Same with Eifert. Wouldn't be a good pick but said Cleveland might do it just to block Pittsburgh from grabbing him at No. 17

Seems like a great strategy...

I had him as one of my fantasy qb's this year and he was very efficient. Add on the fact that Marone got the job at Buffalo an its been said for months now that Nassib would be the obvious pick since he knows Marone's offense already.

Many, including myself, think Nassib is the best QB in the draft

I think he will be a very good QB

you didnt watch Syracuse wreck the shite outta West Virginia in the Pinstripe Bowl?

They also took out Missouri late in the year.

Yeah but at No. 8? That's high

Look at teams who need QBs: Jets, Arizona, Jacksonville, Buffalo

Two of those teams — Jets & Jaguars — can't afford to try and hit a home run with a guy like Nassib. Sanchez backfired and so has Gabbert. Too much risk there. Arizona will probably wait on a QB and could grab Barkley in the second round.

You mean to tell me Nassib wouldn't be there in Round 2? Or at least another QB?

This is way too similar to the JP Losman scenario and more recently, Christian Ponder when Minnesota reached

This is what happens in NFL drafts...

Nassib will be taken in the first round because whether he or Smith goes first, once the first QB goes the other teams needing a QB will panic and take one early or trade up to take one

I fully expect Nassib to be a top 15 pick and at one point I saw a mock draft with him going 1 to the Chiefs before they got Smith

A weak draft allows a team to reach for a QB. It's a QB league and teams are desperate to find the right guy. Nassib may be a bust but if you're a GM you have to take in to account who you are passing up to reach on a QB. There doesn't seem to be many slam dunks in the first round outside of the offensive linemen.

Manti Te'o is most likely going in the first round. That says it all. I'd take a flyer on Barkley before I drafted that clown.
