Darrius Heyward-Bey shot up mock drafts the week before the draft as well.

Can't stand McShay. I liked the draft better when it was just Kuypers' dumb arse we had to listen to.

McShay's overall ineptness makes Kiper look like a God. Maybe that was ESPN's strategy when they first hired McGay

I love how you guy's are laughing at the draft guru's projecting DHB going early as if they were wrong. He did go pretty high as they said.

I was laughing at the fact that he actually shot up the mock draft boards. I can imagine a few GMs trolling Al Davis making him panic and taking DHB at 7.

ETA: McShay had him at 20 and Kiper 25 and both had Maclin and Crabtree rated higher.

This Eifert in the top 10 thing seems to be gaining steam.

Also, if any of you follow @NFLosophy (former NFL front office employee) he talks a lot about how much bullshite draft stock "rising and falling."

In his opinion, teams don't move their boards that much over the "draft process." It's just the media finally catches on to what the league thinks of a player and that's when their stock "Rises" or "Falls."

Certainly a lot of teams blow smoke and use the media to that end. The point is the draft guys are not necessarily pumping up a guy just because they like him, but because they are hearing talk of him going higher than originally thought.

EXACTLY! A lot of talk about who will go where is mostly speculation. Some of it is right, but most of it is media guessing.

McShay officially went retard. Has Joeckel falling all the way to SD in his final mock.

No way all those teams pass up a potential Pro Bowl LT. I find it hard to believe Arizona or Buffalo would pass up on him considering both can't block air.

gahhhh, saw that.

I get that there will be a lot of surprises in this draft but those tackles will all be gone in the first few picks...

A weak draft allows a team to reach for a QB. It's a QB league

you'd think that the ravens winning a super bowl with a mediocre QB would tell people something

That happened once in how many years. Also he didn't play like a Mediocre QB in the playoffs.
