I dont get how Mingo gets so much hate for being raw, but Dion Jordan is spoken as a sure thing

I don't think Mingo is raw at all (sans LSU bias), I just think he needs to put on weight.

Mingo is listed at 6-4, 241 while Jordan is at 6-6, 248

I'm guessing Jordan is higher because he was more consistent. Mingo disappeared at times for LSU and struggled with teams that could overpower him with strength.

If he gets up to 260, he'll be a star

I guess everyone is finally jumping on board with Mayock. He's had him at No. 1 for a while and McShay just changed to Fisher at No. 1, among others

I think Jordan would have disappeared in the SEC anf Mingo would have flourished in the Pac 12 in the same way

Both have questions about their run defense, but make plays in open space which is seen in more in tbe Pac 12 more than the SEC

I just think theyre very similar, and dont see any reason one would go top 3 and the other is middle of the 1st

I think Jordan worked out better. I remember watching the combine and they were talking how Jordan might slip into the top 10. His performance solidified a top 10 pick and he's been rising ever since.

Not saying Mingo had a bad performance, but obviously scouts saw something more they liked with Jordan.

Both could be busts, both can be stars, but if Mingo falls to Saints at No. 15, that'd be a steal IMO

I dont hate Mingo at all..

I'm a Falcons fan and would hate to see him on the Saints.
