Get you a pair of Thorogood Wellington’s. Made in America and they hold up great. When I was offshore running around on grating they would last 3-4 years. Now, I work onshore and very rarely have to put my boots on anymore, but I’ve had the same pair for about 8 years now and other than the grease and oil they look brand new.

Keen makes a durable work boot.

Went with Keens last go-round. Best thing about Keens is they lightweight. Makes a difference if you got back, knee, hip, or some other problem not to be carrying extra weight with every step.

Man, Danners are great boots. Never tried their work boots but their hunting boots are top notch

Red wings haven't been good in a long time l. The last pair I bought fell apart in 3 months and I had to do a warranty on them. Not worth the money anymore for sure
I’ve worn king toes for almost ten years. Put a lot of miles on them, on my 4th pair. Zero issues.

Redwings used to be my go to brand. I have been buying Wolverines for the last 8-10 years and have not been disappointed. I walk a BUNCH at work on all manner of surfaces including green concrete and gravel and steel grating and in the woods and stand a LOT at work. I am hard on shoes and Wolverines usually last me about 18 months or so. I buy 6 inch high boots with as little cuff at the ankle, uninsulated, gore-tex or something similar with as slick a sole as I can get because deep treaded boots are only good for carrying red clay home where those treads release it into the house immediately. I usually pay around $80 for a pair of Wolverines. I usually buy them on Amazon.

I've been wearing Carolina boots for years. I've had several different styles over the years but these are my favorite.
Along with Georgia boots another pretty good choice....

One thing I found for boots if you're wearing them daily:
If you can purchase two pairs to alternate, you might get 4X the life out of them. A lot of boots start to fall apart due to internal moisture from sweating leading to deterioration of the leather, insole and misdsole. If you're able to alternate the boots each day, then they can dry out fully on the inside on their "day off." A boot dryer is also a cheaper alternative, but then you have to remember to use it on a daily basis.
Also, if they're glued instead of stitched boots (or if they have glued soles), don't leave them inside a hot car in the summertime for prolonged periods. That can cause delamination.

Doesn’t sound like you need steel-toes to me. Non-steel toed work boots are a pretty drastic upgrade in comfort. The last ones I got are Timberland brand and they are pretty stellar.

Red Wing King Toe. Over a year old, and I would buy them again.

Timberland Pro have been good to me

Bought a $25 pair of Brahmas 15 years ago at a WalMart in Memphis because I went up there in dress shoes for meeting then saw a project I needed steel toes to look at.
Best pair of steel toes I've ever owned.

Early 90's in SoCal, my neighbor at the time, Bill Ward drummer for Black Sabbath loved my Redwing Wellingtons. When I asked, "WTF do you know about steel toed boots?" He replied, "The are great in a fight."
When I returned to LA after 2 years, I gave those boots to him. He acted like I had given him a gold bar.
