I don't bash New Orleans or Louisiana. The way I live and the things I'm interested in I couldn't be anywhere better. I wouldn't live in New Orleans and rarely go there anymore. I never said I hated New Orleans. I never spoke ill of the Louisiana population.

I guess I haven't met enough of them.
We have 4 and one due in March. Wife owns her own business works one day a week makes a lil change but I think it's mostly for the social aspect. We homeschool our kids. The first problem we had with daycare was that we didn't want someone else rasing our kids. There's always those crazy abuse allegations and stories and before kids can talk you'll have no idea what goes on. We felt for us homeschool (garbage schools in our area) and her being home for the most part were the best options for us.

I'm not I just don't get it. I might be guilty of assigning the opinion of the few to the masses though.

What exactly is this referencing wrt Ole Miss fans and New Orleans? ?

I've never really seen this as any kind of "prevailing narrative" amongst them.

Maybe I'm guilty of taking the opinion of a few online as the consensus here.

That's what I'm saying if you like a place it's cool to just say that. There is no reason to trash a place you like just to take on a self righteous/ pearl clutching persona. I'm glad they are here celebrating but don't enjoy yourself and then pretend you didn't. NOLA is a shithole but it's fun.

I've never personally had a bad experience with OM fans. Georgia was a different story but it was a long time ago. It's good that everyone was cool that's how it should be.

No I wouldn't but I wouldn't trash a place I was going to partake in.

If you were to take out the corruption and fraud from the Democrat leaders... New Orleans could potentially be one of the best cities in America but the local leaders have destroyed all of that to line their pockets

This has a little truth if they wouldn't have ran the oil companies Houston wouldn't exist.
Crystal foods, blue plate, zatarains, domino etc.
Kenner yes West Bank no, small pocket in terrytown and Gretna.
