.357sig is hard to come by...or at least not as easy to find as say a 9mm or even a .45acp. IMO i would go with something more readily available.

You're going to deaf yourself and put bullets through every wall in your house. That's if you can find ammunition for it post-Obama laws.

9mm with 17 rounds of 115gr Critical Defense. Light em up.

you're not married are you...

Only thing I can say is to introduce her to them and show her that they are the big scary thing that she has them made out to be.

If that doesn't work keep the pimp hand scrong...

She probably hated the idea because you used the word "clip."

But in all seriousness, the only reason most women are afraid of guns is because they are unfamiliar with them. You can easily spot the girls that grew up hunting because they aren't intimidated by a firearm or the fact that you own a few.

Take her out to a controlled environment and slowly teach her how it's done. If she hasn't grown up hunting and shooting like you have then she has no idea what she's missing. Show her what she's missing!!

Agree.

KR had the best idea. Most folks are afraid of something that is new to them. Bring her out to the range, get her some good ear protection and bust a few up.

Just have her make a few sandwiches first.

16 years buddy. I owned a gun before I got married and my wife went to the range with me before we got married. My father-in-law gave my son a bb gun for his first birthday. OP's frick-up.

The correct response is that you are caught up in a national hysteria and it is making you feel compelled to purchase another firearm.

My boy's already shot out one of those double open windows in our bedroom, from the front yard, with a bow and arrow set he got for Christmas. I took him to Academy, his favorite store, and got him upgraded Easton arrows. They work.

Tell her it was inferred in your vows that you would do everything you could for the rest of your life to protect her from harm. You promised this in the house of God, in front of your closest friends and family. You are a man of your word. If she absolutely wants you to renege on that promise you will consider it, but you will also start to date outside the marriage, since the vows mean nothing to her evidently.
