Go to Academy. Buy waders

Yep. I have the breathable Mag2 waders for fishing and the hybrid camos for hunting. Love them both and you are 100% correct on the returns.

It really is a no brainer to buy waders from Academy with their return policy. If their shite was garbage, it would be one thing, but I still have a pair of the old Game Winner breathables that are going strong into Season #3. I think all their stuff now is under the Magellan brand. I bought a pair of the 1000 gram Thinsulate neoprenes for my trip to Okie last year when it was down in the teens and those waders were awesome.

I just bought a case of heavy metal from Mack’s for $200 and free shipping. I think it’s normally $260 a case.

Thats a good deal, but spending $20 a box on shells makes me want to puke. Especially with how shitty I shot last year.

I drove through SW La yesterday and seeing all those golden rice fields...many of them already stubble...made me start thinking about the season. We picked up a couple of new blinds this year...one should be good for specks. Can’t wait.
Thanks for the recommendations on shells.

I got out of serious duck hunting several years ago when I lost my dog. My son doesn't enjoy deer hunting, but does like ducks, so this year I have a new dog and a new lease. Can't wait!

I want to start again but it's been so long. I'd like to find a guided rice field hunt or something EASY to ease back into it.

I don't know if I'll be able to hunt much this year. Got rid of my duck boat and have a bay boat now and areas I used to hunt are only accessible by go devil/surface drives

I dont know too many people who have had a good shoot there. Accommodations are awesome but hunting is soso especially for the money it cost. Use to BS with Jared at the Y Not occasionally, good dude.
