Proper fishing permits? Like a charter license or something?

What To Know Before Booking Trip:
We fish everyday and are 100% Full Time. This allows us to know exactly where the fish are each day and get you to the spots before all other charter services.
We keep boat and tackle in top notch shape to ensure all fish count.
We have the fastest, brand new and most comfortable boat in Venice (2017 39’ and 36 Yellowfin). This means we get to the fish quick and you get more fishing time. Brand new Yamaha Engines re-powered every 2 years – Reliability and Efficiency. Don’t chance your only day of fishing to engine troubles.
You keep ALL your fish caught within regulations. We clean and bag all your catch. Many charter boats SELL YOUR CATCH (BEWARE), we don’t.

Pelagic landing
La dept of wildlife charter lic
Proof of insurance
USCG lic
All has to be held by the vessel and capt, although it’s a dick move by GJ to put that burden on the guys who booked the trip. The captain should have had the book thrown at him and the anglers a verbal warning unless they didn’t have their individual fishing lic.

No. Never happens. Which is a sure sign that the charter boat in this situation is run by a bunch of absolute morons

They should edit their site to include

"We won't sell your fish, but it may be confiscated at the dock due to our ineptitude"

They may not have to worry about it going forward.

Yeah that's fricked up. Was the shrimper Vietnamese? We had a good cobia catch a few years back and the Vietnamese lady asked if she could keep the heads and carcasses for soup.
