Here is a list of the firearms I have lost recently in boating accident. Looking to see what I should buy next.
2 AR-15 5.56
1 AR-15 pistol 5.56
1 AR-15 7.62x39
1 AK-47
2 .308
1 Henry 30-30 Lever
1 AR-9
1 AR-15 .40. cal

I had a bunch of handguns. 3 9s, 3 .45, 2 Desert Eagle (44 and a 50AE), .22, 1 .40,
Also a lot of shotguns.

What rifle should I get next? Honest question. Just want more but want some thoughts.

You could get a chassy gun or a bolt action of some sort. Are those .308 bolt guns or are they AR10’s?

All AR-10. I guess I forget to list 2 .270 and a 30-06.

You should probably buy the will to not talk about your armory. That would be the best thing you could acquire in this climate.

What’s the difference of that than my .308s? I keep seeing on this board that 6.5 Creedmor is the devil. What’s the advantage of getting a M1A? Bolt action, right?

M1A is the civilian M14, I’ve got a national match model and it outshoots my Sako

Wasn’t the M14 kind of universally hated in Vietnam? Did they just got a bad rep due to the jungle or what?

Most of my ARs are 80%. No list. Plus I have my police report that I lost a bunch in an accident. I’m covered because it’s all true.

I don’t know about universally hated, I think it was just the wrong rifle for the jungle terrain. They did a lot of walking and were able to carry more ammo for the M16. All I know is mine is a shooter but it is somewhat heavy

Actually, the M16 was hated more for a variety of reasons, some warranted, some not. It's a good rifle, but was obsolete almost as soon as it was adopted. The military still uses them, though.

Big and heavy. Not the easiest to use and the troops there didn't often need to engage an enemy at 500 meters. In the right circumstances it is hard to beat. A lot of special ops still use the M14. Also used by Navy and CG aboard ships.

A winchester M70 .375 h&h mag.

You had a bunch of wimpy guns. Get a big gun. It makes shooting wimpy guns not fun anymore.

I’ve got a pile of guns and this time every year I usally buy a nice custom rifle or AR but I’m going to buy two suppressors and get my trust setup instead. Then later in the year I’m going to look at a Pulsar thermal.
