Whatever you do, don’t pour gas in the hole then try to light it…terrible idea.

Delta Dust Insecticide
This stuff is supposed to work pretty good. Sprinkle it around and in the opening at night and they all walk through it and then spread it to the whole nest.

I emptied two cans of wasp spray into the last one then dug out the nest just to be sure.

At night a five gallon bucket of water mixed super heavy with dawn dish liquid. It’s not cool like gas and a lighter but I have been successful several times with it.

Go get a couple gallons of ammonia at the dolla store. Trust me, works better than gas

Don’t send me up a tree to put up a lock on and then crank a chainsaw to trim shooting lanes. Old buddy got hit and dropped the saw. It was still running, of course. I just got real still up in the tree. Finally, one of them on the ground to a long limb saw and hit the kill switch.

Whatever you do, don’t do what my brother and I did as kids. We stuck a broken off shovel handle in the hole to trap them in there. A few minutes later we pulled it out to see if they were mad.
I’ve never been so many times in my life. Well over 20 stings. Mostly on the backs of my legs while running and screaming.

After dark take a flea bomb and set it off with nozzle in the hole. Repeat as needed

Had one at the camp last year. Used our propane torch after dropping gas in the hole. Got close enough and just blasted the hell out of it. Spent the next two days drinking beer and picking off stragglers in the air with the flamethrower. Good times

My grandpa would wait until after dark and put a funnel in the hole and poor gas in it. LOTS of gas.

I bought a flame thrower lance and hose (~10') from Lowes that attaches to a 5 gallon portable propane tank. I've lit that baby, cranked up the flame to a roar (throws ~ 5' and the wand is about 3'), and just walked up to the nest with flame in front, then aimed it down the hole for a minute or 2. I've done this 5 or 6 times and now my neighbors come get me when they find in ground nests. I really enjoy killing those little bastids with fire. It's quick, fun, and I've never been stung. If a couple fly at you while walking toward the nest the flame knocks them out of the air. I really enjoy watching them catch fire and hit the dirt.

Whatever method you end up using, make sure to film yourself doing it and then sharing it with us.
