re: HOA flexes muscles: only Houston sports teams logos are allowed on painted curb addresses - TexasTiger1984
We just moved into a new neighborhood in Spring around 99/Hardy. This section of the neighborhood is all new builds, every single house. We moved in in October and stained our cedar fence (which was put in by the builder) with a natural cedar tone so it wouldn’t eventually turn that rough gray color...

re: 264 Win mag.... - TexasTiger1984
I have a 1964 Winchester model 70 .264 . Bought off my dads friend when I was 13 for $75 back in the late 90’s. Such a great rifle. Was my primary deer rifle until about two years ago....

re: TD Mobile Not Working? - TexasTiger1984
So that didn’t work, Bozo, but I did just figure it out finally. Safari was set to 50% zoom rather than 100%, no clue how I changed it to begin with. But got it figured out now. That was a frustrating 3 days...

TD Mobile Not Working? - TexasTiger1984
Suddenly TD mobile stopped working on my iPhone. I didn’t change any settings that I’m aware of and have tried turning my phone on/off. Oddly enough, TD Mobile works in the private browser mode. I’m using Safari. Anyone else having issues? Any settings that I should look at? ...

re: 150 miles of pipe in 40 feet sections sitting in Nebraska. Company has to eat the cost - TexasTiger1984
Welspun can make quads and they ship by rail straight from their facility. And you can ship quads via trailer, you just use stretch/pole trailers. But you can only get 2 joints of 42" per truck due to weight. Which is why most gets shipped via rail to a multiple laydown yards, it's offloaded and ...
Pipe will likely be scrapped
I can promise you the pipe will not be scrapped. It will be sold off to various companies that will use it for structural jobs (bridges, piers, pilings etc.) or other pipeline jobs. However they're likely only to get 10-30 cents on the dollar. I w...

re: thermal - TexasTiger1984
Just bought a thermal for my dad to try to control some hogs at our place. I went with a pulsar XG50 and love it. Don’t have much to compare to bc it’s the only one I’ve ever used. It’s expensive for sure at $5999 but it’s legit and held up well shooting a .308. I also invested in a nice tripod, not...

Buddy has 230 acres in Centerville, MS that they are getting ready to clear cut (starting today). It consists mostly of pines, gums and oaks. The pines were planted 30 years ago and thats what will be cut. All oaks will be left alone and some gums will be removed. The property has several ponds, ...

re: Lewis Machine & Tool (LMT) MWS Defender AR-10 - TexasTiger1984
Yes it is heavy but from everything I've read it's a great rifle. It'll mainly be used for hog-hunting and will be tripod mounted. You're going to have to educate me on the gas block. It doesn't appear to have a standard adjustable gas block. I've not looked at the Savage or Springfield, i...

Lewis Machine & Tool (LMT) MWS Defender AR-10 - TexasTiger1984
I've got my heart set on an LMT MWS Defender AR-10 but for obvious reasons I cannot find one anywhere. Same goes for trying to by a upper or lower separately. There are a few on gunbroker, most of which appear are being sold by shops rather than private individuals, and I'm too impatient to wa...

re: 2015 Ford Explorer - TexasTiger1984
Have the same exact vehicle and had the same problem. Jiggle the thumb button on the shifter when you’re trying to put it in park. That works for us when it happens. Otherwise you’ll have to change the entire shifter assembly which isn’t cheap....
