I’ve had a large egg for about 12 years. It’s been the best food investment I’ve ever made and I cook on it 2-3x a week.

I’m about to get a 24” burner with a flat top attachment or a gas grill. I’d like to have something I could turn on and heat up really quickly, but I’ve gotten to where I can have the egg ready to cook in 10-15 minutes so I may just get the burner and flat top attachment.

Weber kettle, 90's era weber genesis, 2021 weber genesis, campchef pellet smoker XXL. I could cook a whole damn cow at once if I needed to.

BGE's are expensive and the options are even more insanely expensive but they will last a good long time as long as you don't crack it...

Recently picked up a Monument grill from Lowes. Been incredible so far and I love the sear burner. I use my old Traeger for smoking.

Running a 5 year old outdoor gourmet from academy I picked up for like $300. No complaints from myself or anyone who eats my food.

Have had 2 Primo XL for years but got a master built gravity smoker 1050 a year or two ago and I have not touched the Primos since. Mainly because it’s stupid easy to run the MB and produces results. It’s not as efficient or built like the Primos but it will last a while if kept up. It’s like a pellet grill that uses better fuel.

And I buy them wholesale so that helps. Primos too. Tried KJ but they are so backlogged I won’t fool with them anymore, at least for now.

I have the Primo XL Oval.

Unless you do a lot of cooking, I would not recommend getting the largest one. I think the large will do what you want it to and not have to use as much charcoal in the process.

I would disagree with that. My primos shut down pretty fast and save the lump for next time. I’d get the biggest that would fit the space, like a TV

That’s one thing I really like about the Masterbuilt it’s got a ton of space.

I wanted a Kamado Joe. Wife wanted me to get a Weber Kettle to see if I would use it regularly before spending the money on the Kamado.

I now have no interest in the Kamado. The Weber does everything I need it to, except volume for smoking ribs. I bought a Pit Barrel Cooker for hanging multiple racks of ribs and turkeys.

My next smoker will either be the Weber Smoky Mountain, a Gateway drum, or a pellet grill.

If you're looking for a cheaper ceramic option I've got the Pit Boss(now labeled as Louisiana Grills) from Costco. They're $600 and I've been very happy with it after ~4 years of ownership.

Holland.... but it's about to tap out on me. the burners and all that are fine but the frame has finally started to wear through. Can't imagine why... it's only 20 years old. I do most of my cooking now on a homemade barrel grill/smoker.

Anyone have one of those Mr. Steak Grills that BPS carries? Never used one but I like the looks and features of them and the price doesn't seem too terribly bad.

Z Grill Pioneer 450B. It’s just me and MawMaw so we don’t need a large grill.

Char Griller Akorn. Does everything the BGE does. Except crack when knocked over. Cast iron grate makes for great steaks as well.
