Blew up my motor going out Saturday morning after being towed back, took the bay boat offshore instead and got our arse beat Saturday afternoon. Getting pictures of West Delta looking like a pond didn’t help.

Also our smallest snapper of the season while being circled by a bunch of Florida flagged boats fast trolling over the reefs, I assume trolling for kings?

4 perches, but saw two of them bite on live scope, and one was just over 15", so it was an ok trip.

5 bass on new water. Caught 4 fishing a shakey head in 20+ feet of water. That was a first for me.

Only fished a couple hours Saturday morning and it was piss poor for me. Handful of shorts and nothing more. Did spend some time at the pool & beach and had plenty beer, so it wasn't a total wash.

20 bass in bayou black. Lost another 10 or so. Fish were super shallow and coming at you when you set the hook.

Surprisingly well in Hopedale. Water was lower and dirtier than I was used to but not unexpected with the west winds as of late. Managed seven reds and ten bass.

Planned a trip for Lake Chien Sat AM, ended up going fishing Friday night at a compression station in Lake Barre/Terrebonne Bay with a podna who had limited out on 16"-22" trout the previous 2 nights. I brought my Black CLoud with me and ended up catching 3 hard heads (on plastic) and 2 11 1/2" Specks.

Didnt go Sat as we had previously planned. Was going to hit the perch this Afternoon but it rained.

Worked my arse off, helped a friend cut up an enormous cherry bark oak easily 9' in diameter, dropped and cut up two dead trees and helped clean out a barn. Then worked a day at my hunting lease and planted golden millet in our duck holes. Highly productive weekend in August can't wait until October!

No kills or catches.

Moved 8 Coverts to a different part of property and put out 2,000 pounds of feed for the elusive whitetail buck deer.

Already got some new bucks we haven't seen before on cameras.
