This I want to hear more about. When those weirs are open the bait moves and the trout fishing is usually way better. I hadn’t heard they had a couple of the weirs damaged. If HR&G is booking Oct. 1 with customers that is great news for the lake.

3 man limit at Cameron jettys yesterday, east side set. 15 at nine mile cut on Saturday channel side, all on dsl. Awesome weekend!

you have a bucket and aerator, grab some live shrimp in hackberry on your way down.

Talked to Ms. Roxanne Friday afternoon as she was closing spicers for the weekend so they probably won’t be open today. Hackberry fish camp should have them. Look forward to the report!!

Can confirm they really check on you. Went through a checkpoint last Sunday at port Arthur coming back from hackberry. They called me on Wednesday afternoon

The 12 inch 15 limit is palatable and will be in place at some point in July.

I have a feeling 5/14 for big lake unfortunately. Hope they do 10/14

The Pit Room is probably closest to Minute Maid.

Jackson street Bbq is across the street from Minute Maid. Not on the same level as pit room no doubt.

I love Ms. Roxanne at Spicers, but I hate getting gas there they have a $2.00 markup seems like.

We kill too many fish for them to bounce back after freezes. I’ll raise my hand, they got hammered in 2017. I moved to LC in 07 but started fishing cal hard 3 years prior and caught limits of 2#-4# trout up to 11-12. Stevie Wonder could catch trout back then it was so easy and then it changed. Oyster harvest with dredges flattend the reefs, crab landings are way down, mullet are harder to find, land loss, dredging & fishing pressure all contributed to this shite show we now have.

Man I hope they don’t drop the limit to 5 on at Big Lake. It will clean out a bunch of guides and weekend warriors, but will they ever change it back to 15?
