re: Commercial vs private insurance for a work vehicle? - good_2_geaux
It sounds like the truck is not fabricated in any special way(welders truck, flat bed, etc.) it just carries tools. If so, you can insure the truck under a "private" policy with any carrier (progressive, all state, state farm, etc.) and list the "use" as business instead of personal ...

Fidelity Simple IRA - good_2_geaux
A relative of mine started a new job and asked me to help fill out her employers simple IRA application. I noticed they are offering her over 50 Class A, C, and T funds. I’m familiar with class A and C but not T. I read online but thought I’d ask the MB for advice as well. Should a 23 yr old all...

re: Chicot State Park advice needed - good_2_geaux
beautiful park, I recommend setting yo-yo’s over night with shiners for sac-a-lait and bass fish mornings/afternoons. To echo other posters, it is a heavily fished lake for its size, coupled with Florida strain bass it is usually a grind. In my experience average bass are larger. Reasonable expec...

re: Lumber Prices - South Mississippi - good_2_geaux
I was recently told the exact same prices you listed for the pine (didn’t discuss hardwood) for North MS from a guy who works for the US Forest Services. This was just in conversation, not a firm quote. He did mention to be very wary of these “good ol boy, small loggers”. He had several stories ...

re: White Lake Conservation Area Rice Field Lottery Hunt Tomorrow - good_2_geaux
I bet the wagon is on its way to pick you up now. They are serious when it comes to ending the hunt at 9am. I'd do it again if they would let you hunt later. That was the biggest disappointment for me. ...

re: Grand Cote NWR Duck Hunt - good_2_geaux
hunted blind 3B (north side of the access road) last year on opening morning of the 2nd split. Did not fire a shot, hardly had any water. Id recommend accessing the refuge from the west (community of Fifth Ward) and not going down Little California Road from the East (Marksville) side. The ro...

re: 2001 16' War Eagle w/ 40hp 2 stroke Yamaha - what's it worth? - good_2_geaux
~$800 for new parts and labor; should be able to find a used tiller, for this one and get it done for ~$400; I have an older 40hp and its a "throttle forward" model that had to be converted to "throttle back", I put a new style tiller handle on it that I bought second hand from someone who conv...
