Pond hopping across northern Dallas suburbs this weekend and I crushed them both days. I caught more than 40 bass this weekend. No giants...a few 3.5 lbs but mostly in the 1-1.5lb range.

Anyone catching sacalait? And how were the gnats? Need to go run my stump jumper, but I'll be damned if I'm fighting them things like i did this weekend chasing turkeys.

Been seeing some people catching a few in the basin.

They didn’t bother me, but mostly because the wind was blowing pretty good. Mid morning the wind slacked a little bit and I started getting bothered by a few, but I put on some of my Buggins repellent and that was that.

It’s just a small sawzall with an over priced blade
But does make quick work of the big reds

ran outta BSL Saturday morning. Caught a few showers but it was a nice relief to keep the gnats away. We never specifically targeted specs but we did find 7 lost keepers in the marsh in our red spots. We also caught/released multiple bull reds, one of which was missing damn near it's entire lower jaw. funky lookin dude

Fished Hopedale Friday and put together a decent box of fish. Had to weed thru the small ones. Weather was nice Friday!

Edit: Also love that someone out there downvotes all my post! I feel honored your life is that pathetic to downvote all of my post!

Bite was on fire in lower Terrebonne if the storms didn’t run you off. It’s time.

Dude, quit being a bitch. That’s like a 4 sq. mile block of water which is extremely helpful when narrowing down places to fish. You could cover that in a few trips. Go out, take your lumps, and learn how to fish it. No8 has put in some serious time around there. He isn’t catching them by accident.

That he has, one of my first trips after I converted from paddling to pedaling I covered some serious ground, thinking I would get into some areas pretty far from the launch that most kayakers probably never commit to that kind of distance......I ran into No8 and a buddy way the hell out there.
