Got a buddy selling a 2006 Honda rancher 4x2 that is apparantly immaculate. The guy doesn’t use it from what I’ve heard. He would sell it for $800. I’m thinking it’s a nobrainer what say you

Buy it and sell it to me for $1,000. I need a reliable bike to leave at the deer lease.

If you don't buy it I will. Need a bike for the hunting camp.

I'll go ahead and jump on the band wagon...I'll take it if you don't. My son's getting too big to ride on the back of mine.

Is the only issue I see depending on where you plan to ride it.

What is your buddy's name and telephone number? I'll call and get some more details and evaluate the purchase for you.

you can get through some tough spots on a 2x4 with good tires and a winch. sounds like a great deal to me

Jump on it, get it fully serviced and enjoy years out of it.

The 2006 model is the last year for the 350cc Rancher.
The following year the 420cc came out and it is Fuel injected.

Not a major drawback at sea level but just wanted to point that out also.

I have a 2006 and had some issues when riding it at higher elevations in Wyoming when I was up there for work.

That is correct, mine is a 2006 4x4 ES. The ES acts funny if you run it in high water, but it has always gone back to normal after leaving the water and restarting.

That's because they insist on running the shift system at 4 or 6v. It's stupid.

Nice bike and I'm not a Honda fan at all. First thing I would do is install a winch on it.
