Yeah, just like sugar, salt, nicotine, opioids, etc. are "poisons." Hell, you can be "poisoned" by clean drinking water.

I'm tired of all of the idiots who feel they need to get behind a cause, trying to talk like a scientist. It's as if they were all raised in a damn starbucks (which by the way uses milk sourced from cows raised on RoudUp treated and GMO food sources).

The GMO thing has to be the dumbest movement in my lifetime. I try to avoid products touting this as a positive. Humans have been genetically modifying plants and animals since the very first "crop".

So is adderal, which people often give to kids in place of an organic non-GMO range free non-fat gluten free safely traded fresh farm to table arse-whipping.

* I recognize the medicine is helpful and necessary for some children.

I talk to people from time to time about this and they inevitably think there's some scientist in a lab with tiny scissors who is just chopping up genes and putting them back together however the frick he wants. They understand what DNA kinda looks like, but that's about it.

The older I get the more I realize it's a dangerous and powerful thing for people to know just enough about something to think they aren't ignorant.

So much misinformation in this thread, don't have time to argue it right now.

Will be back later after spraying our beans before the rain.

Herbicide, Fungicides, and Insecticides are all considered pesticides. Pests don't have to be worms or bugs. I agree with your overall point and am far from "anti round up".

All roundup crops get sprayed again right before harvest. It is incredible how much pesticide is used

Well, this thread has been interesting to say the least.

So far we have:

Roundup bad
Herbicides aren't pesticides (this made me laugh, and then sob for humanity)
Greenhouses can out produce row crops 10 to 1 (LMAO)

Did I miss anything?

This is kinda like the clip vs magazine thing. The bottle says herbicide.

Multilevel hydroponic facilities.

Don't lie about the argument to tweak what I said.

They are already utilizing these farms in the tropics where the island populations are unsustainable with standard farming methods.

But hey, don't let the facts bother you.

I don't use roundup, but not because I'm some hippy. Because it's expensive. Hot water, gallon of vinegar, as much salt as will dissolve in the solution. Fill a sprayer to the top for $3. Will last me the whole summer keeping weeds from growing in the driveway cracks and edges of the flower bed.
