You're a special one.
ETA: People like you are what make these threads great. A sincere thank you for making me laugh this cold, shitty morning.

I could buy one, just have zero desire to do so. I'd rather buy $500 worth of Popeye's. Point being that it is a waste if you are looking at ice-holding ability
Most people who own them either won them or got them as a present. Your sales tactics aren't working today. If wanted a legit tough ice chest, tell me why I wouldn't buy a cheaper K2 or Pelican?

I prefer which ever brand can take the most abuse. This is the case in guns. Trucks. ATV's. Boats. Outboard motors. Ice chest. Waders. Pocket knives.
I wish someone would do a torture test on floating soft gun cases. I can't seem to find one that holds up to the abuse.
Back on subject. Yeti and similar chest are hands down the toughest that I have found.

This has been my argument since my first post in this thread, but all these guys are more concerned about holding a 1$ bag of ice than they are getting a quality product for their money

I'm not worried about ice. We have a huge machine at our camp that just keeps making it no matter how much you use.

Quit trying to change the subject. I am going to nominate my Coleman Xtreme for the OB Droppie

Winner winner. Most people like nice things because they are usually better built and last.
The butthurt comes from people that dont have one or cant afford

Dude, pull the reins a bit. You a little outta control.
I have said it on this forum, if you use a Yeti like a regular chest, you are gonna be disappointed, it will perform no differently. It is also too GD heavy. But it is tough, and it doesn't slide in your truck, and never leaks in the back of an SUV.

You keep saying this, and it makes you sound like a huge douche.
When you get all grown up, you will realize that just because some don't CHOOSE to spend money on a product, it doesn't meant they CANT.

I'm like that too, but I don't abuse ice chests so paying 10x the price never made sense for me

When the earlier people say zero but " yetis are a waste of money" it comes down to money. If money isnt an issue you would buy one.
That statement means that and that alone. Dont get upset if its true. This all boils down to the cost.
The cost isn't worth it is the argument. My point is COST isn't everything to most people. 500 dollars to you isnt the same to others

Some people like bang for buck. I like things that flat out work. Don't need something flashy that comes with a sticker. More expensive things aren't always the best.
Take my new scope. Sure I could've spent $500 on a fancy scope, but instead I spent $150 for one that has more features and works just as well, if not better than a $500 one. I'm not trying to impress anyone with how much money I can spend, and not impressed with how much other people spend. It all depends on how something does it's job, and when it comes to holding ice, a $50 ice chest works better than a $500 one
Seems like you're the butthurt one here

No, for most instances I wouldn't, no matter what. Sorry.
I have a Yeti, and it has a purpose but wouldn't want one for many reasons I buy an icechest.

You still don't get it, everyone understands what you say, but there are folks that have millions that still wont spend 400 on an ice chest. So money has nothing to do with it in a lot of cases.
