Yeah but you only know douchebags, so I don't think your sampling is shite. And come on, you know you really don't know any women.

So OP, you have come to the conclusion that a cooler that melts approximately 30% more volume in ice in the same amount of time is a good thing. Hmmmm. Nice.

Volume for the Coleman is right at 5000 cubic inches, the tested Yeti is 3800. I am not a fanboy, I have one and have bashed them plenty. But this thread is just stupid.

Well, my beer is cold and my camp and tailgates are bear-free 4 years running.

Babes like cold beer without bears around, so there's that.

When it snows tonight, I'm gonna fill my Yetis with it.
Then for the first tailgate in September, I'm gonna ice my beers down in those bad boys.

Gonna make the non-Yeti people jell-eee.

I think 50 lbs of ice is 50 lbs of ice

Oh, they added the same amount? If so I stand corrected. I didn't watch all that shite.

Yeah, volume doesn't matter here... Don't know where he was going with that.

Me either but I skimmed for the high points. Yeah it was 50 lbs unless they had some that couldn't fit it. I know Yeti's are tough, just doesn't justify the price to me

This whole thing cracks me up.

Been doing the whole tailgate thing since 07.
Always had trouble with the durn beer/ice not staying cold for 24-36 hours. Had some good Coleman's, Igloos, etc., no good. Keep in mind how you use a cooler at a tailgate, they get opened every 5 minutes.

Bought the Yetis as soon as I heard about them. I don't think they had other super-coolers yet, maybe Coleman had extereme?

The yetis keep stuff cold.

Now I will admit, when the weather cools off, I switch back to the others b/c those Yetis are freakin' heavy.

Well, it would take someone much smarter to me, but there is some difference if the volume of the container is different, it would be kind of like the snow cave theory I suppose, creating a buffer..in this case it traps the cold air, versus the hot air of the snow cave deal.

As I said, smarter than me and that doesn't take but like 6th grade.

I just like these because both sides get mad. I would use one if someone gave it to me

Agree.

I doubt I'd get too bent out of shape over a cooler.

Now trucks...

They are just coming to market, like the first container of them came in this month. The guy who owns the company is from Louisiana, lives in Mandeville.

See my post about these chests.

Just saw them loading 100s of them into a storage unit here in Mandeville this afternoon.
