I would love to. In fact, I might sent them my resume next week, eta: I have 1 YETI at the camp and about 10 igloos/colemans/other assorted shite piles

Didn't you say you have never bought a yeti for yourself?

I don't care who bought it, I'm glad his likes his ice chest. Just seems to me if they were that awesome, one of the people here defending them would have paid retail

He's jealous that you can completely disregard quality and buy things based solely on a cheap price. There is a reason nice things cost more money my friend. Quality costs money regardless what you or your butties at snipershide and rimfirecentral tell you.

quote:

You won't find one person in the world(besides your idiotic self) that will say a Yeti is better than any other brand tough ice chest

I agree that there are several of the roto molded coolers that are pretty equal when it comes to doing their job and all of these are significantly better than a $40 plastic piece of shite that will be broken sooner than later.

quote:

It is just not the best, and it is just not the best bang-for-the-buck

Do you honestly think people buy a YETI because its the best bang for the buck?

quote:

They aren't called "tough plastic boxes that happen to hold ice for a couple of days". They are called ice chests, and with that description, a Coleman is better at being one.

So the only thing one should consider when buying an ice chest is how long it can hold ice?! In that case, like i mentioned ages ago, go buy a fricking styrofoam from Circle K.

I did pay retail on the one I bought. YETI doesn't allow any sales on their products other than bulk.

Maybe you never got the memo, but a high price doesn't automatically mean high quality. Low price doesn't necessarily mean low quality either

They pay an extra $200 for the name and another $50 for the sticker. People want to feel important and that others admire them. Consequently, they buy stuff based on name only

Why would I do that when it doesn't even hold ice as long as a poor excuse for an ice chest Yeti?

You're an idiot, and I can only deduce a Yeti rep based on that. I haven't once said what brand or model of scope I bought. I'd be a pretty shitty rep

I think the point was you've never had a chance to have buyers remorse over dropping 4-Hundo on an ice chest for yourself. You intended to spend that on the one you gave away whether it would have been an ice chest, gun, etc

In this case and in the case of your scope, certainly it does.

quote:

No sir, they pay the extra $200 so that they have something that will last and be quality for them when they need it. Why do all the charter captains and guides have roto molded ice chests?

quote:

$50 for the sticker

never got one

quote:

People want to feel important and that others admire them.

You're stereotyping everyone that owns a YETI. Maybe 5% of the owners of YETIS wear the clothes, sport the stickers, etc.

quote:

Why would I do that when it doesn't even hold ice as long as a poor excuse for an ice chest Yeti

you clearly like to buy cheap shite

We are obviously arguing with some pretty savy penny pinchers man. They have all the knowledge and know more than most when it comes to the best deals.

Obviously paying a little and getting alot is alive and true.

I was always told otherwise
