Agreed. I broke a BVK and had a similar experience. I had a new rod in less than a week. The guy at TFO actually told me to break my rod up into smaller pieces to save myself some money on shipping ha.

Selling a few things. I'm in DFW.
Rods
Allen Vollant 10' 4wt - not much use $225
TFO pro special 9' 6wt - more use than the allen, but not a ton. $75
Lines
Orvis Hydros 3D trout - WF4F a little more use than the rod, but not much. $50
Orvis carp WF6F - used once $25
I can get pictures of anything tonight if needed.

Anyone know of any fly shops in Savannah or on Tybee? Need to get some line for my reel and get some good flys for the area.

I've fly fished and golfed for years. The two are similar as you will never perfect either, and spend the rest of your life learning.
Early season is rough on me. If I took a video, you guys would spit coffee into the computer screen watching me butcher casts, and get tangles.

My buddy ordered a new boat today. There will be a bad arse little ankona tiller for sale soon. If anyone is looking for a budget skiff, this is the one. I've fished it a few times, its pretty slick. Floats in a puddle and cruise all day at 26 mph with two guys and gear.
