Skinny Water Culture raglan long sleeves and hawksbill hoodies are the most comfortable shirts I've worn and I've tried most of them.

Light colored with a hoodie for me. I think I have the Huk one but Magellan makes one also. Thinnest one possible around here.

I think I have one of each plus a columbia. All of them work well. Don't have the hoodie but have a hat with a flap to cover the back of my neck. For a Cajun boy with Spanish and French lineage, I am burdened with the extreme paleness but not quite albino gene. I blame some random Englishman who infiltrated my mom's side of the family sometime way back.

Fishing is literally the only time I wear PFG shirts. They're cooler than a t-shirt to me.

I've become accustomed to it. If I want some sun, I'll fish shirtless for about 30 minutes or so.

Always have a pair of pants also with me. Damn the gnats!

I'm fairly fair skinned, but can "tan" slightly.

I have had a melanoma, and a couple of basal cell carcinomas removed. None of them were pleasant experiences. I wear long sleeves, hat, and a gator fishing. I need a new hat with a brim to cover more, however.

AFTCO samurai shirts or hoodies. I wear them fishing, on the tractor,
and working from home. Super comfortable and dry quickly

Don't be soft. Cutoff jeans and no shirt.

I have two free fly bamboo hoodies pricey but worth it. Very cool and comfortable.

stay away from poly thats for sure, poly is hot as hell

i used old cotton dress shirts unbuttoned, and they work just fine

you just need a thin layer to prevent the burn, yet not be hot to wear

The PFG/knockoffs in a synthetic are best when it's brutally hot, just because they're looser than a t-shirt, but I try to avoid fishing when it's brutally hot. Pretty much any of the light synthetics are the same to me. I've got Huk, Columbia, walmart, generic crap off of Amazon. Probably all comes from the same factory in Vietnam.

I love FreeFly bamboo stuff for moderate temps, but if you're going to sweat a lot it doesn't dry as quickly as the synthetics.

I’ve found that while comfortable, bamboo shows sweat much more and take forever to dry.

Bought one of these, used it for a week and bought the exact identical one to have as a backup. It's more comfortable and better fitting than the Huk/Under Armour ones I've tried. Every few weeks they either have a bogo on them or 20% off
