Seen babies a time or two but usually shoot the nest with a .22. Hear a thud then something is in there

No. Just the ones that look suspicious.
The image of you squinting at the suspicious nest made me laugh.

That thud is usually a coon and he comes up out of there like his arse is on fire

Btw, I hate a fricking coon!

Negative. Hunting behind the house this year. Camp won't be ready for another month or so

I slowly move through the woods, I rarely sit while squirrel hunting

Oh, and I hate nest shooters about as much as I hate dog hunters

Then you would not enjoy out annual "Its brown its down( with the exception of deer)" hunt every year after deer season

We usually wind up with a pile of critters and have a big cooking. Bbq coon and a squirrel and rabbit stew

I don't care about shooting coons, squirrels and rabbits

I was always just taught that if they squirrel made it back to it's nest, it won. That was their safe zone.

.22, easily

shotgun for squirrels is just not very fun

too easy and too loud

I fricking love sniping 3 or 4 squirrels out of the same tree

This is what I do unless hunting with a dog. Hunting with a dog one person brings a shotgun and the rest have .22s

Puhleeeze, you get a good hickory tree and it doesn't matter how many times you blast away with a 12 gauge, those squirrels will stick to it.
