I'm going bowfishing tomorrow night and taking my 3 year old boy perch fishing on Saturday.

Any advice? Never fished it or even attempted to catch saugs. I'm a south LA transplant. Moved up here last july. Got on some white bass this spring but that's about it.

We fished plastics mostly worms in areas that looked good for bass they would hit slow

Hoping to get the new Cat out for some prefishing for a tourney next weekend. Wife is trying to call "mothers day weekend" on me... but last I checked it was SUNDAY!!!! I don't get a "fathers day weekend"!!!

I'm down in Dulac right now. Fly fished this morning but couldn't find any decent water inside. Weather is unreal nice right now.
