Bay Area checking in. Going to try for some sacalait in lake des allamands in the morning. Got a couple good reports during the week.

Headed back down hwy 23 tomorrow. Did real well on trout this past Tuesday. Hopefully the front didn't mess it up

That's where I'm heading to , well most likely gulf canal , have you been doing good in cataouchie / tank pond area , btw I used to fish bouef a lot when I was a kid , we had a camp off foret canal , haven't been out there in years .....

Nice catch! Have not done saltwater in a couple of years. As for topic, I do not fish weekends anymore. Hate crowds Honey dos on weekend. Mon-Fri are for me. Good luck.

yard work this morning then Henderson this afternoon...
ended up catching 10 bass as the sac a lait bite was not happening for me...

parking lot was full to the cattle guard at the public landing at the Atchafalaya Welcome Center...

Best thing about Cataouatche is I know I won't be going back anytime soon.

Lake Bouef was ok, caught about 35 sacalait.
