Bumping to see if anyone has any feedback. I might be interested in a 2024 Chevy with the 3.0

The Windhoek airport is a cluster. So give yourself more time when you leave. Lines are crazy and passport control can get crowded. Joe’s Beerhouse is cool bar and the wild game is delicious.

LA trip report 3-8 March

Posted by all_over_it on 3/11/25 at 8:06 am

Just got back from a week in LA. It was myself my wife and 10 y.o. daughter
Picked up rental on Monday and drove to Disney for 3 nights then drove up to spend Thursday - Saturday in city.
Thursday we drove up to the observatory when the weather was clear and had great views of the Hollywood sign and could see the ocean.
Drove down the hill to Dodger Stadium and bought a hat. Hit up lunch at Phillipe the original for a French dip I highly recommend — parking is free
We then drove over to the tar pits walked around the park and hit up the museum, my daughter liked it and it is a good experience, we walked out and hit the street light art outside of the LA county museum for some pictures—- parking at tar pits was 18 dollars for 2 hours.
That evening we drove to Beverly Hills and walked Rodeo drive - found a parking garage and it was cheap 2 dollars an hour , cool to see and window shop - then had dinner at Pizzana in West Hollywood great pizza then walked up to Santa Monica Blvd for ice cream.
Friday morning we did Warner Bros. Studio tour - it was fun and we all enjoyed it. From there we headed north on the 101 and cut across to the PCH at Point Mugu and drove down to Malibu ( had to turn around and hit Malibu canyon back to 101 as road still closed due to the fires) it is a great drive and some great picture opportunities.
Once we made it back around we went to the Santa Monica Pier- parking 7 dollars - and walked down luckily we made right before sunset so some cool views and pictures. We then walked up to the 3rd Street promenade and found a noodle / dumpling place to eat.
Saturday morning we hit up Schoop’s delicatessen in Santa Monica for breakfast - I can’t recommend this place enough- fresh smoked salmon and huge portions of food. We returned car and flew home.

TLDR - add half an hour to 45 minutes to drive times for traffic especially in mornings and afternoons.

Remember the limit is 700 rabbits tonight only.
What time does the band practice? It has been a while since I have gone to a night game and would like to take my daughter.
