While you all argue over looks, I'll be more concerned with how much light shows under the sights.

Are they trying to bring back the old school HK mounting rails?

I'm curious to see how they managed to get a double stack mag into a 1" wide gun.
Yeah, that is the selling point. Both the Glock 43 and Walther PPS are 1 inch width but only hold 6+1 and 7+1 respectively. If anything, it looks overly long in the slide the and grip looks a bit short. Regardless of what you think of looks, 10+1 in a true 1 inch width compact w/ what I assume will be the same trigger as the P320 is intriguing. Hell, you could argue the trigger is both too light and too short for ccw.

Yet 50 times better than a Glock

So, there's a word worse than hideous for Glock. Interesting.

I was thinking this was a competitor to the other double stack compacts out there and that's not really anything new. But if it's the same width as most of the single stack carry guns they are breaking some new ground.

On paper it's better than the 43 in every way. If that transfers to real world applications then I am switching my 43 out for it. We need to get a bapple review video. It's been too long since we had one of those.

I think the 1" width measurement is the slide. I think we will see that the grip is a good bit wider.
What that means for Carryability and comfort is yet to be seen

If it’s a true 1” width all across the gun I think this thing will sell very well. Saw where it’s very similar dimensionally to the shield but can hold 12+1 vs the shield’s 8+1 if both are using extended mags.
I carry a P938 from sig and it’s width is listed at 1.1” so this new gun will supposedly hold more rounds and be just as compact. That’s a strong selling point.
