Kick it up to $500 and get a sightmark wraith 2x16x28.

A solid little night vision scope at 100 yards, and works great during the day

Probably a LEUPOLD that fits your budget.

I have a Nikon P300 on that exact rifle and really like it. If you can find a used one for cheap I recommend it. Nikon no longer makes scopes, but is supposed to still honor warranties.

If you're going to be shooting subsonic and super's i'd look for a scope with enough yardage tick marks that will allow you to cover several yardage zero's with both types of ammo.

Have a Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40 (around $300) on that exact rifle, shot multiple sub MOA groups at 100yds (suppressed). Put a youth stock on it (Ruger will send you one for free if you call) and have it set up for my 6y/o...works great, smoked his first deer this past weekend!

I posted this in the other thread. But this is a great deal. The guts are the same as the credo and accupoint but it doesn’t have illumination.

Crimson Trace LPVO

Midway has the CT LPVO on sale from $740 down to $377. For 300 BO distances it is all you need.

They will send you whatever they have for replacement. So, not really.

I'd avoid Nikon

Hell I thought they wouldn't warranty it in any way. I have a 2-7x32 that is broken, I guess I should see if I can get some kind of replacement for it.

That may be the case now. Not sure. My nephew got a replacement for one a few years ago.
So, not sure what they will do now.

I have one for my kids. I put a vortex diamond back 4x12 on it and it has killed more deer than all the other rifles in camp combined.

The primary arms 2.5-10X44 is what I have my eyes on right now. It’s a little more than your stated budget though. Might be worth the extra money though.
