I had one for a few years. Bought it right when they first came out.

Absolutely hated the trigger but it was great to carry. I installed the clipdraw on the side of mine so I could tuck it in a waistband in some shorts where the pockets were too small or didn't have pockets at all. Never that accurate due to the long heavy trigger and the short grips. Eventually got an XDs in 9mm, single stack and that is my go to carry gun most of the time now.

That being said, there are much better options out there now, unless they have drastically improved upon the original design.

It’s cheap, so I don’t care what happens to it.

I can also shoot it much better than I think it should.

The little holster it comes with is pretty magic- it doesn’t print in jeans and when you grab the grip, it comes right out like it should.

For all the haters- holes hurt. It’s easy to say it’s not enough gun. But I bet if
you got shot with a .380, you wouldn’t say that anymore.

Don't buy it. Buy the S&W Bodyguard 2.0.

I have the LCP 380 max. I use it as a pocket gun just to throw in my pocket for quick runs to grocery etc. I’ve put 200 rods through it with no issues. It’s a pocket carry/backup now really a primary weapon. I would get the max over the regular LCP. PSA usually has them for $200. Buy a few 12 rd mags to go with it.

Best carry ammo is underwood extreme penetrator. Do not carry HP ammo in .380. It doesn’t get enough penetration.
