Same here. People ask what I’m shooting. Hell if I know! I just reach into my bag and pull 3 out

Yeah, and shotguns don’t leave any real ballistic evidence. The only thing might be unique firing pin marks on a shell hull. But I would imagine that after an almost entire season of hunting, there are at least dozens of recently fired bulls all around that blind. And since everything I e seen indicates that at different points in the season all the parties involved have hunted that blind at least once, well.....And for that matter, the hulls actually shot that morning could have floated a quarter mile away before they sank.

I agree that it's a sad situation. And I don't know any more than what's been posted.

But any time the shooter is "on the run" from the authorities, he's gonna have a hard time in court explaining how the shooting was justified - "consciousness of guilt" and all that stuff..

I saw where they found a body on Reelfoot today but no word on the ID of the body yet.

Up date: The body was confirmed to be Vowell.

So much for all the prognosticators claiming the old
Man lived and was on the run.

I’m going with the guy who survived as the killer of all of them.

The fact that they found his body is strange? Why is that?

In the beginning this seemed like a crazy idea but now this seems almost definitive to me given the current info that’s likely not complete. Why would the old man not go to his boat otherwise?

Would certainly be terrible if the 3rd guy was with the 2 families of the deceased all week and then ends up being their killer afterall.

I’ve felt all along it was this guy too. His story seems totally off

We’ll probably never know what really happened.

A kid I grew up with “drowned” in his 20s while frogging. Think his family had already suspected that his buddy was fooling around with his wife or girlfriend (long time ago - don’t remember all the specifics). Him and his buddy went frogging one night, and the story told was that he hit his head on a branch, fell into the water, and drowned. Sure enough, his “buddy” ended up with the girl. I’m guessing that branch looked a lot like a paddle.

Sole survivors get to write their own narrative. Sad if the original story is true and the survivor is a hero, because people will still look at him funny for the rest of his life.

actually the guy has a point.

Not quite sure why you seem to be defending shooting someone.

The poster you call a moron. already said in his post that You absolutely have a right to defend yourself if someone points a gun at you.

Not sure what point you are trying to make here.
